Fantanita Haiducului Hotel, hosted by a building having a large touristic tradition dating from 1973, suffered a big restoration and redecoration process in 2004. Starting with this year, the hotel opened its gates offering a rich touristic service offer. The hotel is located in Bradului Forest, in a nice natural landscape, at the middle of the distance between the highest resort of the country, Paltinis and the most beautiful road in the world, Transfagarasan, with the most exceptional alpine area of the Carpathian Mountains, the reservation with Balea Lake. At only 15 km there is the city of Sibiu, where you can visit The Council Tower, Brukenthal Palace, the Old City Hall, the Liars Bridge, the Defence Towers , Astra and Bruckenthal Museums, the Evangelic Church, the Defence walls of the old Citadel, the Passage of the Stairs ad a lot of other interesting things.
